What does it mean to have "well-written lyrics" in a song?
Any person who writes lyrics should do what they love to do. It's a form of art, so it's very subjective. However, in the absence of strict rules, it might be worth looking into what most people consider to be a truly good song lyric. At the end of the analysis, I got some interesting results.
Great Lyrics: What Does This Mean??
Generally speaking, it's not about how poetic the lyrics are written or how many complex words have been used (damn, I love to use complicated words to challenge my writing and my language skill). *.✧ Where to find inspiration? ✧.*
I know it can be UNBELIEVABLY hard to find inspiration for your art. I know I know. But there are some things that I use to stop this overwhelming feeling.
1. the obvious one: movies, tv shows. Just watch something new, something that you typically wouldn't watch. Something so extraordinary for you that it feels foreign. It will give your brain more thoughts and you will find something interesting.
2. Just do it. Yes. Just simply do it. No overthinking. Just do something. Usually when you start creating, you will get more ideas on the way. So. Do it.
3. Try a new hobby. It often helps me when it feels like there are no thoughts in the brain. Learn new languages, make origami, idk, build a castle using stones. Just anything....
