I noticed that I stopped using AI. I only use AI when I have weird as freak questions to which I want to know the answers. I stopped using it for anything else. I just find it a bit useless and I, surprisingly, love imperfections that human beings do. Although, ai is also delulu lol.
It’s really fun to sing your own songs live. I don’t know why I haven’t done it earlier. I guess I’m more of ‘creating songs in Cubase’ than performing. But performing is really fun! You always sing your song differently, and I love the fact of not using any backing vocal tracks with the instrumental version. Just pure lead vocals with a bit of a reverb send. I want to record a full singing session.
I’m thinking if I should have an audio recording device which I can carry around and record different sounds. I’d use my phone, but my phone has this noise from dynamics that the mic is sensitive to. Sooooooo yeah I’m thinking about this.
Sometimes there are days where you just have no ideas, usually when it happens, I tend to do some automatic things like choosing vocal takes, or just taking care of my music folders, or just singing some basic backing vocals for a song. Also look at those cutie cats.
The landscape was mesmerizing when we were filming the ‘Fading Forgotten Town’ song.
When I look at my electric guitar, I always think that I need to look up for more tutorials and learn how to play melodies. Also, recorded doubles for the chorus of my future new song yey :) AND I think that I need more foam on my coffee don’t you think?

There was one time when I asked AI about social media algorithms how they theoretically work and what the AI would suggest posting. It literally said ‘you should create FOMO by posting stuff, so people would return to your account all the time.’ Ugh??? FOMO is scary, but basically, the algorithms work this way. I just find it weird, and I still have this mindset of the 2010s internet bruh.

Why did I want to create an animation?:
- When I finished the song, I was thinking about the plot of the MV. The first scene I visualized was in a subway train. I imagined many scenes with the train like me crossing the station platform and entering trains as if they were placed right next to each other. I thought the music video had to include subway scenes, but in reality, filming there was impossible. That’s why I started considering other ways to show the subway. And then I remembered… animation!!! !!
First struggles:
- It was hard to find the right application. I knew they’d probably need a graphics tablet, so I already had one. The first app I found was OpenToonz (Studio Ghibli used this software for many years to create their works). Of course, the program seemed complicated. I had to watch tutorials just to figure out where the erasers and brushes were. I’m sure OpenToonz is an awesome DAW, but since I didn’t know how to use it properly, I kept experiencing many lags while animating. There was also a rendering issue. I wanted to export in MP4 format, but it either wasn’t an option or I just couldn’t find it. After struggling through a few scenes, I realized I needed something simpler for my skill level. Then, I discovered Sketchbook with animation tools. And that’s how I started creating this music video.
I’ve noticed that musicians nowadays preview their songs before the release date, and for me, that’s such a huge spoiler AAAAA! I absolutely love to know NOTHING about the new song. not even two seconds of it. Just a complete surprise. I think it’s so much more exciting as a listener 😭😭😭

BRUUUH I want to create songs!!!!! I need SILENCE. SILENCE EVERYONE. I actually can write songs in surprisingly loud conditions, I don’t get irritated or angry, it’s just coz I need to record vocals :3
